Woodstock on USA|Yhdysvalloissa New York (osavaltio)|New Yorkin osavaltiossa sijaitseva paikkakunta, jolla järjestettiin suuret pop-musiikki|pop- ja rockfestivaalit 15. - 18. elokuuta vuonna 1969.
Woodstockiin saapui tuolloin arviolta noin puoli miljoonaa ihmistä. Alueen aitaukset kaatuivat, ja lopulta konsertit järjestäjät ilmoittivat, että kaikilla on paikalle ilmainen sisäänpääsy, ja että rahat pääsylipuista voi lunastaa takaisin (järjestäjät pääsivät omilleen vasta vuosikymmeniä myöhemmin). Paikalle saapui lopulta 400 000 - 500 000 ihmistä, vaikka konsertti oli suunniteltu vain 50 000 ihmiselle.
Esiintyjinä Woodstockissa oli suuri joukko aikansa nimekkäimpiä sekä nousussa olevia rock-yhtyeitä ja muusikoita. Ihmisten muistoissa ja mielikuvissa Woodstockin festivaalit ovat saaneet maineen jonkinlaisena hipit|hippiliikkeen loppuhuipentumana. Kaikille kävijöille kaoottiseksi muodostuneet festivaalit eivät kuitenkaan olleet välttämättä yksinomaan positiivinen kokemus. Kolmipäiväisinä mainostettujen festivaalien neljäntenä päivänä paikalla oli enää muutamia kymmeniä tuhansia ihmisiä seuraamassa Jimi Hendrixin esiintymistä.
Woodstockin aikana tapahtui kolme kuolemantapausta. Yksi johtui heroiinin yliannostuksesta, yksi umpisuolen puhkeamisesta, ja yksi henkilö kuoli jäätyään traktorin alle.
Tapahtuma oli esikuvana monille muille rockfestivaaleille, muun muassa Turussa seuraavana vuonna käynnistyneelle Ruisrockille, joka on Euroopan vanhin rockfestivaali.
