St Albans: Guide

St Albans (kirjoitetaan ilman pistettä) on City and District of St Albansin suurin kaupunginosa Hertfordshiren kreivikunnassa. St Albans oli ensimmäinen merkittävä kaupunki matkatessa pohjoiseen vanhaa roomalaista tietä, Watling Streetiä ja paikalla oli roomalainen kaupunki Verulamium. Roomalaisten poistuttua kaupunkia kutsuttiin ennen nimittämistä St Albansiksi nimellä Verlamchester tai Wæclingacaester.
