Dundee (Skotlannin neljänneksi suurin kaupunki, jossa vuonna 2003 asui 143 090 ihmistä. Se sijaitsee Skotlannin koillisrannikolla, Pohjanmeri|Pohjanmereen laskevan Firth of Tayn pohjoisrannalla. Se on nykyisin muodollisesti kuninkaallinen borough|burgh.
Dundee tunnetaan myös nimellä City of Discovery, koska paikkakunnalla valmistettiin Antarktis|Antarktiksella menehtyneen tutkimusmatkailija Robert Falcon Scottin alus RSS Discovery.
Dundeessa sijaitsee kaksi yliopistoa. Dundeen yliopisto perustettiin vuonna 1967. Se on keskittynyt luonnontieteelliseen tutkimustyöhön, ja siellä on n. 17 000 opiskelijaa. Toinen, Abertay Dundeen yliopisto, on entinen Dundee Institution of Technology, jolle myönnettiin yliopistonimike vuonna 1994. Alun perin se oli perustettu jo vuonna 1888. Se on Britannian johtavia korkeakouluja tietotekniikan ja erityisesti pelikehittelyn saralla.
Dundeen molemmat ammattilaisjalkapallojoukkueet, Dundee United ja Dundee, ovat pelanneet Euroopan cupin semifinaleissa. Kaupungissa on myös suomalaisten vahvasti edustama salibandyseura Dundee Northern Lights. joka on jo useana vuotena peräkkäin saavuttanut mitaleja Skotlannin liigassa.
Vuonna 2006 maineeseen noussut indie-rock yhtye The View on kotoisin Dundeesta.
