Offenbach am Main: Guide
Offenbach am Main, lyhyemmin Offenbach, on kaupunki Hessenin osavaltiossa, Saksassa. Se sijaitsee Main-joen varrella, kaakkoon Frankfurt am Mainista, ja on osa Reinin-Mainin metropolialuetta. Vuonna 2005 kaupungin asukasluku oli noin 120 000, ja se on pinta-alaltaan 44,9 neliökilometrin suuruinen. Väestötiheys on 2 664 as/km².
Offenbach mainitaan kirjallisissa lähteissä ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 977. 1800-luku|1800-luvulla teollisuuden kasvaessa massiivisesti koko Saksassa Offenbachin asukasluku lähti roimaan nousuun. Kaupunki oli myös aikoinaan Saksan nahkateollisuuden keskus, ja tuosta ajasta kaupungissa on vielä muistona Saksan nahkamuseo. Kaupungissa myös järjestetään kansainvälisiä nahkamessuja.
Kaupunkirautatieverkosto Reinin-Mainin S-Bahn kattaa Offenbachin kaupungin.
