Rouen: Guide
Rouen on kaupunki Luoteis-Ranskassa Seinen rannalla. Siellä on mekaanista ja sähköteollisuutta. Kaupungista löytyy myös arkkipiispanistuin ja yliopisto, joka on perustettu vuonna 1964. Siellä on myös lukuisia rakennusmuistomerkkejä keskiaika|keskiajalta. Vuonna 1999 Rouenin kaupunkialueen väkiluku oli 518 316 asukasta. Itse kaupungin asukasluku oli 106 592 ja pinta-ala 21,38 neliökilometria.
Rouen on Normandian historiallinen pääkaupunki ja nykyään Haute-Normandien (Ylä-Normandian) alueen pääkaupunki. Rouen oli keskiajan Euroopan suurimpia ja kukoistavimpia kaupunkeja. Englantilaiset polttivat Jeanne d'Arcin Rouenissa vuonna 1431.
