Poitiers: Guide
Poitiers on Viennen departementin pääkaupunki Länsi-Ranskassa. Se on maataloustuotteiden ja viinin kauppakeskus ja lisäksi siellä on graafista, mekaanista ja kemiateollisuutta.
Kaupungilla on merkittävä historia. Se oli olemassa jo roomalaisajalla, minkä monet rauniot todistavat. Kaupungin lähellä käytiin Toursin taistelu, jossa Kaarle Martel kukisti maurit vuonna 732.
