Orléans on Loiret'n departementti|departementin pääkaupunki Ranskassa. Vuonna 2003 Orléansin asukasluku oli 110 000. Ranskan pisin joki, Loire (joki)|Loire, virtaa kaupungin läpi.
Orléans on merkittävä teollisuus- ja kauppakaupunki. Orléans on myöskin merkittävä matkailukaupunki, ja sieltä löytyvät muun muassa Jeanne d'Arc -museo, 1530-luvulta oleva raatihuone sekä myöhäisgoottilainen 1200-luvulta oleva katedraali. Orléansin yliopisto perustettiin vuonna 1961.
Orléans oli alun perin englantilaisten piirittämä, mutta Jeanne d'Arc valloitti kaupungin takaisin ranskalaisille.
Orléans on myös vallankumouksillisiin vuonna 1789.
