Ajaccio on Ranskassa sijaitsevasta Korsikan saaresta muodostuvan departementti|departementin pääkaupunki.
Historia
Kaupungin perustivat genovalaiset 21. huhtikuuta 1492.
1900-luvulla kaupunki oli suosittu yläluokan talvikohde.
Napoleon I oli kotoisin Ajacciosta, joka pysyi hänelle hyvin tärkeänä koko elämänsä ajan.
