Georgetown: Guide

Georgetown on Guyanan pääkaupunki ja maan suurin kaupunki. Sen arvioitu asukasluku on 75 000 (1986). Se sijaitsee Atlantin valtameri|Atlantin valtameren rannalla Demerara-joen suulla.

Alueen ollessa britit valtasivat siirtomaa-alueen Napoleonin sodissa 1812 kaupunki sai nykyisen nimensä.
