Orense: Guide
Orense (kirjoitetaan myös Ourense) on kaupunki Luoteis-Espanjan Galiciassa. Se on Ourense (maakunta)|samannimisen maakunnan pääkaupunki. Vuonna 2002 siellä oli 109 000 asukasta.
Kaupungin historia alkaa Rooman valtakunta|roomalaisten kuumien lähteiden luo perstamasta kylpylästä. Roomalaisten jälkeen aluetta ovat hallinneet ja sinne hyökkäilleet niin arabit kuin normannitkin. Kaupungin katedraali on vuodelta 572, mutta se on rakennettu lähes kokonaan uusiksi 1200-luku|1200-luvulla.
Nykyisin kaupunki jakautuu teolliseen asemanseutuun Miño-joen länsipuolella, sekä varsinaiseen asuma-alueeseen itäpuolella.
