Gijón (Asturian kieli|asturiaksi Xixón) on Asturian itsehallintoalueella, Espanjan pohjoisrannikolla, sijaitseva satamakaupunki. Sen rantoja huuhtoo Biskajanlahti.
Kaupungin nimi tulee Rooman valtakunnan aikaan tärkeä alueellinen keskus. Sitä on asutettu varhaisimmista ajoista lähtien. Kaupungin satama, El Musel, on yksi Pohjois-Espanjan suurimpia.
Gijónissa asuu nykyisin noin 274 000 ihmistä, ja se on Asturian väkirikkain kaupunki. Se on pinta-alaltaan 181,6 neliökilometrin suuruinen (1,71 prosenttia Asturian pinta-alasta) ja sen asukastiheys on 1 508 asukasta neliökilometriä kohden. Kaupungin korkein kohta on 672 metrin korkeuteen kohoava Peña de los Cuatro Jueces.
Gijónin kaupunginvaltuusto koostuu 26 paikasta sekä kaupunginjohtajasta. Nykyinen kaupunginjohtaja on Paz Fernández Felgueroso, joka edustaa PSOE-puoluetta, vuoden 2003 kunnallisvaalien suurinta puoluetta. Toiseksi suurin puolue on Partido Popular.
Gijónia edustaa Espanjan jalkapalloliigassa, La Ligassa, Sporting de Gijón. Se pelaa liigan 2. divisioonassa. Sen kasvatti on muun mauassa Espanjan jalkapallomaajoukkue|maajoukkueeseen noussut David Villa.
